My thoughts exactly and GWTW is more enjoyable when you see the movie after reading the book. Loved the movie too. One of the rare times when a book matches the movie in its appeal
Yes.
Unfortunately these times are very rare.
I fail to understand just how difficult is it to show what has been written without adding unnecessary gimmicks!
Another movie and book combo i loved was Angels And Demons.

Personally, I felt Inferno was overwhelmingly detailed about Dante’s work. Akin to a history lesson.
GWTW is a love story and so much more. Which girl has not swooned and dreamt of her own Rhett Butler after all?
