In the fall of 2012, I sat one seat apart from Ms. Atwood on a train ride from Toronto Ontario to Kingston Ontario. Either a coincidence or a sign, as I was writing my manuscript at the time. I’ve read her “The Handmaiden’s Tale” and “Oryx and Crake”.
