A thousand posts

According to the stats page, this post is going to be my 1000th post. So I thought I will commemorate it with a recap of a few of my favorite photographs that I have had the pleasure of posting in this blog which will also tell a few things about me through the picture and the quotes I had associated with them.  Although there are quite a lot, I am limiting to 5 of them and in no particular order.

1) From the post Woman

This was my Gravatar Profile for some time. It is from a painting I have at home. And except for the Indianized look and feel, it doesn’t represent me in any way.

“I am no bird; and no net ensnares me: I am a free human being with an independent will.”
― Charlotte Brontë, Jane Eyre

2) From the post Loneliness

From my Baralikadu photo’s. I loved how these two leaves stood alone in that tree.

3) From the post Hasta Lunes

I really loved the natural colors in this picture.

4) From the post Moved to Tears

One of my very very favorite photographs. Took this while on our way back from Wayanad Trip last year in August.

“The first stab of love is like a sunset, a blaze of color — oranges, pearly pinks, vibrant purples…”
― Anna Godbersen, The Luxe

5) And last but not the least, from my first post titled ‘Hope

I thought I should start the blog with a positive thing so I took this picture and used my favorite quote from Harry Potter as my first post in this blog. I never expected to be where I am now with respect to this blog if not for that teeny tiny thing called Hope.

“Happiness can be found in the darkest of times, if one only remembers to turn on the light.” – Dumbledore from Harry Potter

I also take this opportunity to Thank each and every single follower, viewer and reader of this blog who have been a constant form of support and encouragement to me. Your views, your comments and your involvement means a lot to me and I have learnt a lot during my years of blogging and not to mention gain a few friends in the process. Once again Thank you all and Happy Blogging.

    1. Thank you Sreejith. Yeah, even I was surprised that I post that many 😀 but I have been overdoing it with my photo posts I guess.

  1. 1000 posts is quite a milestone. I have only just past 200 posts. I particularly like the picture of the two leaves alone. In the second line of your post, you write “commiserate” do you mean “commemorate”?

    1. Thank you Jim for pointing that out. Yes, I meant commemorate 🙂 (Post Updated)
I love that picture too and I think most of the posts belong to my photographs.
