Charity Christmas Choir

Last week, we had been to the African Promise‘s inaugural Christmas Choir at St Giles-in-the-Fields Church. It was a small and lovely church. It was decorated very mildly and had a soothing effect.

They also had a stall of handicrafts by African women, which were very good. Of course, we got a hand-made cloth lion (I haven’t taken a photograph of that…forgot about it until I was writing this down). The Gospel were amazing, we got to sing the carols with everyone (the lyrics were in the small booklet, which made it easier for me), the wine and mince pies were very very good, the readings were funny. All in all, it was a very lovely evening.
