Books, music and movies (in the same order of preference) have been my long-standing friends. I cannot live without these three. Recently one of my friend suggested that I should start writing reviews and catalog them (I have another personal blog where reviews of some books and movies are already present). So here I am, with my new blog. I am not a reviewer or a critic. So this has just my views on the books I read. I am also very fond of music (any kind.. as long as it pleases me and if I am able to sing that ..it’s definitely on my playlist). I love watching movies (again any kind and any language as long as they entertain me). And I also love photography. So may be a few photos of mine might be posted here (just like the first post). Hope you enjoy my blog as much as I do writing it.

Update on 05-June-2013:

When I started this blog, I thought I won’t have much opportunity to post my pictures. But after 7 months, I think I have posted more pictures than my views on other things. I have also started to like the Weekly Photography Challenge. So that would mean, instead of ‘a few photos of mine’, it would be ‘a lot of photos of mine’.

Started with my new blog ‘Memoirs of my travels‘, a collation of all my travels till now, and the ones that are coming up.

Finally got around to change the title of my blog. Now I wouldn’t feel too bad about posting so many of my photographs.

Fixed the blog sometime back to show the posts related to specific ‘special’ categories. ‘Special’ because, those are the regulars and the rest are categorized as ‘Uncategorized’ or very common ones 🙂 and posts under those are very random.

A few words about those special categories:

a) Tuesday Tunes : To share song(s) that I like. Most of them are English, but there were times when I have posted songs in my mother tongue (Tamil) or Hindi.

b) Wordless Wednesday : To share a photograph, which could speak more than I can say with words, not necessarily that they would 😉

c) Weekly Photo Challenge : I participate in Word Press’s Weekly Photo Challenge published every Friday with a specific theme for the week.

d) A Word A Week Challenge : A weekly challenge conducted by a fellow blogger where she picks up a random word from the dictionary and we can post pictures related to that word.

e) Welcome : Every month I try to post a new Welcome sticky image in my blog, and retire the older ones.
