Artist , Lyrics and just the Piano

I love songs with good beats, bass , treble , whatever , as long as it is peppy and keeps me pumped up. Because I need it most of the time while working or driving. Slow and melodies tend to alter my mood to sad or romantic or melancholic or sappy etc. So I don’t take chances with them while I need some energy. But that doesn’t mean I don’t like them. There are times, when I find myself listening to them to soothe myself. Recently when I saw John Legend’s ‘All of me‘ in his Grammy performance, I was left wondering how I really like the songs which features the artist(s) with just the piano alone, where their voices are the highlight and the piano gives them the perfect background score and just with the music, the words and their voice , they take you places (wow, did I just write that long line ? I am sure grammatically that will be the stupidest one) . I remember getting goosebumps on my skin and tears in my eyes, when I watched Adele performing ‘Someone like you‘. The other two video’s which fall into the same category and which I really like are ‘When I was your Man‘ by Bruno Mars and ‘Say Something‘ by A Great Big World.
