I saw a link somewhere which listed almost 100 interesting questions to ask someone to get to know them better. Honestly, i don’t know if I will remember the answers if I ask someone or if those answers will actually reveal much about the person.

Then I thought, why not pose some weird/interesting (at least to the one who asks the questions)/fun (depending on the answers) and see what kind of answers come up. So here is a list of 10 questions. Would you be so kind to respond to those either in the comments or in a reply blog post ? What makes me laugh…?   The Verve – Bitter Sweet Symphony

I accept that I am not a fan of Symphony or Instrumentals, but I don’t think I would laugh when I hear them.

What makes me cry…? Train – Drops of Jupiter

This song might make me sad, even if not cry. Any emotional stuff and I am affected, but it should have to be really very touching to make me shed tears (e.g. I did wail when Dumbledore died in the book, I did cry when Hazel and Gus share their first kiss in Fault in our Stars book etc etc)

I don’t think anyone would be happy about counting stars!? I would definitely go raving mad if I had to do that.

Cosmic Musicology: Clean Bandit

Time for Steve’s Cosmic Musicology Questions and Answers. I think I missed last week. So here we go with this week’s questions and answers.

Are you a good cleaner?  Bottoms Up ft. Nicki Minaj

Sort of. I don’t spend time to make things shiny to look like its was just bought. But sometimes the thought of cleaning up makes me want to do bottoms up of some strong drink.

Do you hold grudges? Just The Way You Are by Bruno Mars

Not always. I mostly accept people just the way they are, but there are times when that becomes very very difficult. At least for now, I don’t have any grudge against anyone. I am not so sure of the future though.

A rock is thrown through your window with a note on it. It says….?  Teenage Dream by Katy Perry

I don’t remember any teenage dream, at least the ones that aren’t fulfilled yet (I had 2 at that time).  But who will be throwing a rock with that message now ? What is the point ?

 

SoCS: What a question!

I thought long and hard (first time I had to do that since I started taking part in this prompt) and finally decided to go with this.

Some personal questions and answers:

• (My Manager) What is the status of the work today?  

(After the first half of the day lost in the conference call and the next half trying to actually figure out what to do and having my lunch and tea time in between and with down time with my friends etc etc. Well, actually nothing really happened. But what do I answer him at night? ) I am almost done with the design that we discussed in the morning, I will send an update by end of day (that which never comes). 

• (My Niece) When are you coming home ?

Soon dear, I am there for almost 4-5 days next month during the holidays.

• (My friends) When will you learn that we are pulling your leg and stop defending yourself ?

May be never. Half of my life I had to defend each of my action to someone. So it became an habit. But I am really trying. Watch me next time (But again I fall for their good nature ribbing)

• (My fitness acquaintance) You look fit and healthy. Why do you even have to join the gym or any fitness class? 

Because I don’t feel fit that is why and yes, I have been trying to shed that 6 extra kilos for almost 7 years now. 

• (My nephew) What are you planning to get for me when you come ? 

The same red car that I have been getting you forever.

Well, enough of the same boring personal ones. Here are some funny questions and their answers (read these in the Internet of course):

• Why is the word abbreviation so long? 

To demonstrate the need for it 🙂 duh!!!

• What is the funny and ultimate irony ?

I read a lot of answers to it, but the one I liked was 

The doctor hopes you fall ill ,

The lawyer hopes you get into trouble ,
The coffin maker wants you dead .
Only a thief wishes you prosperity !! 

• If Cinderella’s shoe fit properly, why did they fall off while running ?

Because heels are not made for running. 

• Have you considered that the phrase “IGNORE ALL THE RULES!”…is a rule itself ?

Uh!!

• When you talk to yourself, who is talking to whom?

No one had a proper answer for this. Can you please let me now when you do, because I do that a lot of times.
