Lumiere in King’s Cross…

Went for a walk to see the Lumiere in King’s Cross. It was so cold that I couldn’t hold the camera for long. Wish they had this sometime in March. Wasn’t even considering visiting other installations. It has been a very wet and cold weekend.

Art and Architecture at the V&A Museum

As promised, here are some photographs from my visit to the Victoria and Albert Museum

Against all oddsAgainst all odds, a seed rises from darkness and beautifies the universe.”

Wall & Art – 23

“every portrait that is painted with feeling is a portrait of the artist, not of the sitter. The sitter is merely the accident, the occasion. It is not he who is revealed by the painter; it is rather the painter who, on the coloured canvas, reveals himself.”
― Oscar Wilde

If anyone knows who this portrait is based on, please do let me know. The only person who came to my mind was Fyodor Dostoevsky, but I am not very sure.

Wall & Art – 20

God in His wisdom made the fly
And then forgot to tell us why.
~Ogden Nash, “The Fly”

I had to stitch two photographs together because they were in two walls, but not very identical either. I couldn’t take a complete shot of those two together. Modern day fly?
