One of my friend in USA has started to display his artwork through his instagram photographs. I have always loved his work and glad that he has started to share them with the world. He is the one who designed my tattoos. Here is a favourite one of mine.
Explorium
Today was a busy day. I took my niece to a newly opened Girias Children’s Explorium here in Bangalore. The name sounds like the movie titleĀ Mr. Magorium’s Wonder Emporium, a movie I love. It had a combination of science and fun. Ā Definitely not as big as the Exploratorium I visited in SFO. But still pretty impressive given the limited space. This was sort of a test run for when my other niece and nephew arrive here in a week. My niece loved this place and was reluctant to leave even after 2 hours. I was the one who was tired even though I didn’t do anything except take photographs and keep an eye on her.

We haveĀ a three day weekend because of the Ugadi festival, so IĀ am visiting my folks. I am not sure if I will be able to blog over the weekend (I will try to, though) so I thought I will leave you guys with some photographs of the KalaripayattuĀ (Kerala’s age old martial arts…there is a discussion online as to which came first, Kung Fu or Kalaripayattu…but let us not get into that)Ā performance we had the pleasure to attendĀ during our stay in Munnar. This is my first visit to a Kalaripayattu and it was mind boggling. I was so much in awe of those people. It was an hour and a half performance. We were also able to go to the ring and take photographs with those warriors, posing like one (that is all I can afford to). Ā IĀ had a tough time filtering out the photographs to showcase their talents, because there were too many of them. I made sure to take some video’s too, but that will take a lot of time to process. So you might have to enjoy the photographs for now. Until next time, Happy Blogging and Be Safe š
