Serenity

serene2.JPG

“We are not going to change the whole world, but we can change ourselves and feel free as birds. We can be serene even in the midst of calamities and, by our serenity, make others more tranquil. Serenity is contagious. If we smile at someone, he or she will smile back. And a smile costs nothing. We should plague everyone with joy. If we are to die in a minute, why not die happily, laughing? Its all about finding the calm in the chaos. – Donna Karan

I presented my friend in London a Yogi baba once and he loved it. One day on our way back from somewhere I happened to spot this street art in a small side road close to a bus stop and immediately showed it to my friend. He was amazed how this one looked a little bit like his Yogi baba. And every time we crossed that bus stop we would make sure to see if this art was still in place. Then one day, he suggested (since I had my camera with me) that we get down at the bus stop, take a quick click and then get the next bus. Who knows when the baba will be replaced by some other image. And who am I to say no to such a wonderful idea from a wonderful friend?
