Blurred lines

Ah, lives of men! When prosperous they glitter – Like a fair picture; when misfortune comes – A wet sponge at one blow has blurred the painting.

Ganesha and his forms

I was watching something on the TV when suddenly my eyes went to the lower section of the TV stand and the idols kept in it in my parent’s home. I realized after sometime that I was seeing different forms of the same God in it. And it is none other than the famous Ganesha.

This is one God who has been represented in innumerable forms and yet in all those forms he looks the cutest :). Want to know how many forms were there in that small section alone ? 22 forms. Yes, and that was only in that part. There is another old show piece furniture my parents own which has some more. Ganesha is a common and safest and cutest way of ‘Gifting an Idol’ to someone. Because Ganesha is worshiped by all Hindus in one form or the other.

The Storm and the Calm

There are quite a lot of thoughts that is going on in my mind that I am finding it difficult to flush. It is like my mind is in the middle of a storm. So I did what I usually do when I am in a fix, go through my photographs, pick the one that reflects my mind and yeah, post it with some quote (if I am lucky, a good one that goes well with the picture).

So here is the one for today.
