Today is one of those days when I needed a extra cup of ultra strong South Indian Filter Coffee to start my official day.
It is not a TGIF for me, at least not yet. After a lackluster night, the early morning cup of Indian Masala Chai didn’t wake me up. So I had to get my coffee fix in office while I am waiting for people to start the conference. I don’t like it when people schedule these demos and conference calls at the last minute, especially on a Friday. Don’t these people have a life? or know what it means to reach Friday after jogging through the whole week? I am just waiting for the day to get over. God, give me strength.
I would love to get up regularly at 6 am and I once was very much a morning person. But nowadays, I get up that early only when I am on a vacation. What does that even say about me? When we stayed in a small and cute cottage in Dunmanway, Cork County, Ireland, I woke up to this view every single day of our week. It was amazing. I just loved it (except for the fact it was this bright by 6 am or so 🙄 )
I wouldn’t mind if every one of my mornings happened to be like this. And I would not also mind going on a long walk and then sit for a while in a bench like this among the wilderness before heading back to the start of the day. I do that even now while on my vacation.
And don’t forget the coffee. That is very very important. I am OK to have Indian Masala Chai sometimes…but my preference would always be coffee.
And followed by a sumptuous breakfast
Well, that covers my morning. What about yours?
Note: All photos are taken at different locations at different times.
PS: Took this in a restaurant called Muffets and Truffets. I loved that name 😉
Sylvain’s theme for this week is Animal
Caught this Civet near Tanah Lot, where we went for a sunset view in Bali, Indonesia.
We also tried the world’s costliest coffee Kopi Luwak from one of the coffee plantations in Bali as part of their coffee tasting menu and it was surprisingly strong and tasty 😉
