K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge: Day into Night

While I was in Fort Bragg,California I happened to see this scene where the day was slowly turning into the night. So when I saw this week’s Cosmic Photography Challenge, I knew I was going to use this photograph. I did some editing using DPP and Pixlr but the essence of it remains the same.

K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge: Best Friend

I know that dogs are considered man’s best friend. But since I don’t own a dog, I will go with the next best thing or things for me.

a) Coffee:

May your coffee be strong and your Monday be short.

Photograph of my espresso taken using my phone and edited using my Pixlr Phone app. And looks like I might need one of this today. Monday is never my friend.

b) Books, Travel & Nature:

The world is a book, and those who don’t travel only read one page.

I used two photographs taken on my phone. One was that of my Kindle Paperwhite and the other one was of a Sunset I took during a drive in Bangalore. I used Pixlr on my phone app to do a double exposure but instead of doing it on the full photograph, modified the sunset to apply to only a part of the photograph of the Kindle. I kind of liked it because it combined all three elements into one.
