Back with a Bang
When I wrote yesterday that because of the rains its been a little quiet here for Diwali, I spoke a little too soon. When the rains let out after 6 pm, people came back with a vengeance. Non stop crackers accompanied by the cries of the small babies, barks of the dogs, excited squeals of kids and elders alike seeing the colorful fireworks in the sky and a visit from my neighbor with her grandson to give me Diwali sweets. You name it. I went up to the terrace to capture a few shots. But it was coming from all directions that I had to struggle to figure out which direction I should be watching and in the end found myself getting dizzy. So after some time gave up and came down.
