Effects on a flower

I was getting very bored with work, so played around with one of my photographs to see the effects of the ‘Effects’   in a photograph 🙂 I think I am getting the hang of a few details slowly. Is this picture a little overdone ? or OK with respect to the effects ? The original picture can be seen when you click on the image.
