Forward and backward

While I was going through my old hard disk today, I found this saved in one of the folders. It was probably through an email forward (there wasn’t any WhatsApp 7 years ago). Why have I saved it? Your guess is as good as mine 😉 At least, it gave me a good chuckle.

My brother sent me this joke, which made me laugh so hard. Thought I would share it with you. Might be an old joke too, but what the hell 😛

Problem about being in IT. You go by requirements.

Wife said, “Honey, please go to super market and get 1 bottle of milk. If they have bananas, bring 6”.

He came back with 6 bottles of milk.

She said ” Why the hell did you buy 6 bottles of milk?”

He said “BECAUSE THEY HAD BANANAS”.

He still do not understand why his wife scolded him after his reply. 😯

Trust me, we see this day in and day out at work. Unless you state it very clearly, it is so easy for people to misinterpret the requirements or take things very literally 😉

Old Story with twist(s)

I got this video forwarded via a WhatsApp group and thought it was worth sharing. This is our age old Hare and Tortoise story but with lots of added twists and turns to it. One of my friends remarked that while watching this video, he felt like he was in an official meeting and asked me why I did not send him some tea and biscuits to go along with it 😉 So be warned that it can be a little too official but it is still a story worth listening and seeing.  This wasn’t the link I received but found this video on YouTube in this link. So sharing the same. I also don’t have a clue as to the owner of this concept.

While checking out the owner of this idea/concept or video, I ended upon this blog post from SpeakingTree. It is the same story but in words and has a little bit more information on the concept too with examples from Pepsi and Coke and their rivalry. I think this might have been the original content, but I am still not very sure. But nevertheless enjoy the story and its morals 🙂
