WPC: Morning

I would love to get up regularly at 6 am and I once was very much a morning person. But nowadays, I get up that early only when I am on a vacation. What does that even say about me? When we stayed in a small and cute cottage in Dunmanway, Cork County, Ireland, I woke up to this view every single day of our week. It was amazing. I just loved it (except for the fact it was this bright by 6 am or so 🙄 )

I wouldn’t mind if every one of my mornings happened to be like this. And I would not also mind going on a long walk and then sit for a while in a bench like this among the wilderness before heading back to the start of the day. I do that even now while on my vacation.

And don’t forget the coffee. That is very very important. I am OK to have Indian Masala Chai sometimes…but my preference would always be coffee.

Wind

Wilderness

One of my favorite photographs from my trip to Matheran, Pune, India. I have always loved the way sunlight shines through the trees. And this was in the wilderness during our early morning walk. I loved that place.

WPC: Off-Season

When we friends went to Goa for a week long trip, it was a perfect off-season, at least perfect for me 🙂 . I can’t imagine how the beaches would be during the peak season.

As was our trip to Matheran. As soon as we landed it started pouring and we couldn’t walk around much that evening giving us a lot of time to sip our hot tea and enjoy our card game and books.

But I prefer off-season or slightly off-season to visit a place, because I am not that comfortable with crowds. And if the beaches would be deserted because of off-season, then I am all for it.

WPC: Early Bird

While doing our early morning trek in Matheran, we first visited this lake, called Charlotte lake for our sunrise.

During our stay at Chikmagalur, went for a early morning walk around the estate and took this view from my phone.

Nothing beats the sunrise at the beach, even if the sun is rising on the other side 🙂 Taken in Alibaugh during a morning walk.
