We bought these daffodils on Saturday during our evening walk and yesterday I was so glad to see that one of them opened up a teensy bit in the morning. By evening, it had blossomed fully. And by today morning, all of them were in full bloom. It is so refreshing to see them, especially on a Monday morning, when all I want to do is get back to the warmth of my duvet 😉

That smile…that beautiful smile…

That was so sweet. Sweeter than the small piece of chocolate cake with pieces of raisin and walnut I had just before. And nothing, I repeat, nothing beats chocolate, at least not for me. The kind of immense relief and pleasure that I got was equal to my chocorgasmic pleasure. How can you not smile at that. How can you not have your body covered in goosebumps. How can you not feel the high. How can you not give a fist bump even if it is only to your other hand. What am I talking about?

If you haven’t seen the latest Game of Thrones episode, you wouldn’t know about it. So please don’t proceed reading this post. But I think by now you might have got a feeling of what must have happened 😉 I wasn’t try to trick you, honestly. It is so difficult for me to not express my happiness. That is all 😛

I am not a violent person in real life, unless if I have to be defensive or protective and if I were in that mode, you better be afraid, very afraid. But it is so pleasing to see justice served even if it is only on the reel life. I think today might be one of those rare days where I will wear a smile on my face on a Monday 😯 and that is saying something. Now, off to my grinding work which doesn’t seem so bad after all.

Monday Blues and Heat

How am I feeling today? Today being a Monday and the day already starting with some meetings (urgh!). I guess you already know. And add the heat to it….

It may not sound much… its just 29 right? Hasn’t touched 30 yet. But trust me, it feels like 34 already. Just last week it was around 24. Welcome to the tropical weather 🙂 At least this weather gives me some incentive to visit and work from office (for the air conditioning) but then the moment I step out of it, the heat hits me hard. And have you noticed that when it is really hot, how we try and make ourselves stand just below the fan in the elevators/lifts, sort of push everyone and make sure to secure a good position inside the elevator and during the cold season we try and step away from it and stand huddled in one corner? I was wondering how people sort of left the area around the fan inside the lift just last week and today everyone wants a piece of the cold air.

During the winter, I sort of forget how harsh the heat from the Sun in Summer (or even the beginning of it) can be. We do have Sun during winter too, but it was mild, dry but never harsh, pricking your skin and causing heat boils. Well, this is going to be a very hot summer from what I can already feel. Need to rearrange my wardrobe and pack away all the jumpers and sweatshirts. And guess what, just across the country, in the North, its so cold and foggy that flights are being cancelled. Nature indeed is a very mysterious thing isn’t.

Sunday Binge Viewing

This is how exactly I feel today. Especially after a splendid Sunday filled with amazing food, yummy desserts, some Mai Tai’s, followed by some binge-watching with friends in the comfort of my home….No wonder my Monday blues are strong today. We watched

a) Taken 3 : It has Liam Neeson and that is enough for me 😉 I am not even saying anything about how the movie was because I don’t really care.

b) Kiss Kiss Bang Bang: I wasn’t sure about this movie, but surprisingly I really liked it. It is a fun movie 🙂

and the best of the lot was

c) Snatch: I am not a fan of Brad Pitt, but I should accept that he was hot in this movie and well this is Guy Ritchie’s movie and who cannot not like a Guy Ritchie’s movie and was funny as hell.

Now I have to try and get back my bearings and start my work 😦 I can’t wait for this day to get over soon.
