Silhouette

1-IMG_6272-001.jpg

Most of my selfies are in silhouette’s. I have already posted a couple of them 🙂 So for this week’s theme from Sylvain, I went through my photographs from Spain, because I remembered some silhouette from there . This one is from Montserrat. It was in a small room next to the place we see and worship the Virgin of Montserrat. The only reason I took this photograph was because of the two colored windows in the background which sort of gave a different feeling to the statue in the front.

WPC: Descent

My simple interpretations for this week’s photography challenge theme: Descent
a) On our descend to St Joan’s Point in Montserrat, Spain

b) Since I have a slight fear of heights, I didn’t try descending to the edges of the fort’s walls in Sinhagad Fort, Pune, India. But my friends did go till the edge of it.

3) And finally, a funicular’s descent in Montjuïc, Spain

Best Of Spain – Photos

Now that I have completed my posting of specific photographs of my trip (and am yet to update my travel blog ), I thought to consolidate the same . I picked up two photos per place and finally got it done to list the best ones of my Spain tour. I tried to choose photographs that would represent the place.

Here they are. Hope you like them and and wish that it will make you feel like you need to visit Spain at least once. I enjoyed my time there.

Montserrat – Barcelona – Spain

Montserrat –  A mountain near Barcelona known for its monastery and boy’s choir. And trust me, I had tears when I heard them sing, inspite of the church being overflowing with visitors. Its a day’s visit to this place and from there you can either walk up or go by  fujicular (which we took) to other points like Sant Joan which is much steep ahead. Seems like you could climb to the monastery too from all the way down. By why take such risks for me. We went by the cable car. But if you want to do some climbing and trekking, you can get it done here.
