When marimba rhythms start to play
Dance with me, make me sway
Like a lazy ocean hugs the shore
Hold me close, sway me more

I just love love love this song. Not the Pussycat Dolls version, but the Michael Buble version. Not that the former isn’t good, but I love the latter one better that is all and I would rather hear a guy sing that to me 😉 And to watch it in one of my favorite movies, ‘The Wedding Date’, it was such a pleasure. Everytime I hear it, my body sways on its own.
Doesn’t yours?

Can’t beat this one ever, but I still….

Post for this week’s Stream of Consciousness Saturday prompt.

Your Friday prompt for Stream of Consciousness Saturday is: “-ay.” Find a word ending in “ay” and use it as the theme/subject of your post. Play with it, I say!

“There is a pleasure in the pathless woods,
There is a rapture on the lonely shore,
There is society, where none intrudes,
By the deep sea, and music in its roar:
I love not man the less, but Nature more”
― George Gordon Byron

Jiya Jale Ensemble

I might be a little late in sharing this, but then better late than never 🙂 There is a very popular song ‘Jiya Jale‘ by A.R Rahman in the movie Dil Se movie. This has a mix of Hindi and Malayalam in it. The Berkeley College of Music has released an ensemble of this song and its so beautiful to hear. I just loved it. So pleasant.

Flower Dance

Stumbled on it by chance and loved it even though I am really not a person who would like instrumental music unless I am sitting in a nice restaurant at night with candles lighting up the place and with soft and smooth melodies of instruments making me calm, relaxed and peaceful, to enjoy the food (and may be the company too, I hope).
