Tuesday Tunes

Tuesday Tunes

Well, you all know how BIG a fan of ‘James Bond’ I am 😉 So in anticipation of the next movie that is coming soon, here is the song from the movie sung by Sam Smith. Truly breathtaking. Even though it does sound similar to the one sung by Adele for Skyfall, I still love the same. Because its Sam Smith and I can never hear enough of him.

How do I live? How do I breathe?
When you’re not here I’m suffocating
I want to feel love, run through my blood
Tell me is this where I give it all up?
For you I have to risk it all
Cause the writing’s on the wall

Tuesday Tunes & More

I love this song from the movie Coyote Ugly. Always makes me wanna sing and shake my head to this song 🙂

Loving you, That isn’t really something I should do
I shouldn’t wanna spend my time with you ya
Well I should try to be strong
But baby you’re the right kind of wrong
Ya, baby you’re the right kind of wrong

Apart from the usual Tuesday Tunes, I am also including the answers to Steve’s Cosmic Musicology questions for this week too in the same post.

What would you do if you won the lottery? Pitbull – Wild Wild Love ft. G.R.L.

ha ha ha… totally wild answer….almost creepy..I will definitely spend the lottery on people and stuff I wildly love 😉

If you could change anything about yourself, what would it be? Milky Chance – Stolen Dance

Yeah, probably I would learn to dance (definitely nothing classical, but something light). Does Zumba count ?

Are you reliable? Sam Smith – Stay With Me

I think this is a repeat answer, but wow…just wow. nuff said.

To love, to be hurt and yet, to hope, again

I heard these three songs in a sequence and found a pattern and thought it nice. I loved all three, but best of the lot is obviously Sam Smith’s one.

Let me end this with my favorite Khalil Gibran’s quotes which almost resembles the theme of these three songs.

To melt and be like a running brook that sings its melody to the night.
To know the pain of too much tenderness.
To be wounded by your own understanding of love;
And to bleed willingly and joyfully.
To wake at dawn with a winged heart and give thanks for another day of loving;
To rest at the noon hour and meditate love’s ecstasy;
To return home at eventide with gratitude;
And then to sleep with a prayer for the beloved in your heart and a song of praise upon your lips.

Cosmic Musicology Test: If you are happy and you know it

Once again, it’s time for Steve’s Cosmic Musicology Test. Here are the questions and the songs that serve as the answers to those questions. With prayers, here I start.

What makes me laugh…?   Zombie – The Cranberries

Oh yeah! Zombie’s does make me laugh. I have never read or watched a movie which has zombie’s in it. I never understood what the big deal about Zombie’s are anyway.

What makes me cry…? Pressure – Nadia Ali , Star Killers , Alex Kenji – Alesso Remix

Perfect! (The Music Cosmic is in my favor today so far) Yes, I have had my moments under pressure when I literally had to let go of them through my tears. That is indeed a round about way of saying I cry, sometimes, when I am under too much pressure.

What makes me mad…? Latch – Disclosure ft Sam Smith

Uh! I know I should have not said anything until the last question. How best to make use of this song for the question ????? OK. When people latch on to me in a way that leads to suffocation, that makes me mad. (Did that make any sense?)
