My views on the above and some…
For this week’s photography challenge, I am going to post three world heritage sites that I had the pleasure of visiting.
Sian Ka’an Heritage site in Mexico
Old Town of Segovia and its Aqueduct in Spain
And finally, a Group of Monuments from Mahabalipuram (This was taken with my point and shoot and long ago…)
I wonder what I should post about for this photography challenge!
Should I tell you about how winded we were when we had to climb this short but very narrow and steep part of a Tea Estate in Munnar (we had to go up and wait for the others to join.One lady almost gave up half way)
Or how scared I was to do that steep and narrow climb of the Tower in Alcazar of Segovia and not to mention a little bit claustrophobic too(this was my first outing after my ankle fracture. I didn’t want to break anything anymore)
Or should I tell you about the wide space but narrow pathways on the way from Rameshwaram to Dhanush Kodi where you really really want to stick to those narrow pathways made by all those jeeps because that is your only route out. And that too, you might want to come back on time, otherwise those pathways would be erased by the sea tide and you might be stranded in that nowhere.

For this week’s photo challenge: Split Second Story
Am going with two entries. First one: This was taken in Segovia, while on the way to the Aqueduct. The contrast between the two women (going with the assumption that the statue is in most parts woman) in this picture struck me a little different. I am not sure if this qualifies, but this is the best I could do.
Second one: An era gone by. How I would love to go back to an age where I can just relax and read a book like the one in the picture. I love rocking chairs, which are now replaced with recliners and books , with e-readers.
Now that I have completed my posting of specific photographs of my trip (and am yet to update my travel blog ), I thought to consolidate the same . I picked up two photos per place and finally got it done to list the best ones of my Spain tour. I tried to choose photographs that would represent the place.
Here they are. Hope you like them and and wish that it will make you feel like you need to visit Spain at least once. I enjoyed my time there.
