WPC: A Face in the crowd
Given that we are getting closer to St. Patrick’s day, here is a face in the crowd from last year’s parade.
Thank you, Mr. Gently
When I saw this during St Patrick’s Parade I had no clue as to what it was referring to. Not until I saw the latest episode of Inspector George Gently (Series 5 Episode 1, Gently Northern Soul), where the sentiments of ‘No Blacks, No Dogs, No Irish‘ was portrayed. I kind of like George Gently. It is not like Lewis or Jonathan Creek. It has a subtle (and sometimes not so subtle) social undertone to it. John Bacchus isn’t Hathaway for sure 🙂 And Martin Shaw is a lovely actor to portray that strong character.
WPC: Dense
Continuing with my St Patrick’s Parade photographs, here are some of the low-res photos of the crowded parade and the equally densely crowded Trafalgar Square. All I wanted was to get to a stall where they served the Guinness. I ended up taking a photograph of someone enjoying it. They closed the entry to the place because of the crowd. #sad
WPC: It’s all green
I am taking this week’s Photography Challenge theme as an excuse to post some of my photographs from last week’s St. Patrick’s Parade in London, where green was the color of the day. It was such a fun parade.  (BTW: Things are a bit confused here because of an incident at Westminster. Hoping that there will be some clarity soon on what exactly happened. Be Safe!)
