K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge: Patterns

For this week’s Cosmic Photography Challenge, I am using a man-made structure and a natural one for Patterns. Both these photographs have been edited using PhotoMania to create a pattern on a pattern 😉 Here they are:

Wanna join in? Here is how:

Create a post with ‘K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge’ in the title. This week, the prompt is : Patterns in/from nature.
Post a photo to your blog, pingback to either Dale’s or K’lee’s post and don’t forget to add the tag #CosPhoChal to your post’s tags and that’s it!

SL-WEEK 7 : Night

This week’s theme from Sylvain is Night. I have been trying to do some night shots whenever I get the chance but it is very difficult to do it in the city. When I had been to Spain last year, I did shoot some in almost every place we had been to. But Tossa De Mar is my favorite. We had booked a beach facing hotel and got a room with balcony overlooking the fort and the beach. How cool is that. I was trying to take the Fort all lit up when I noticed this boat bathing in the lights. How can I miss that. This was taken from the balcony of my room and the background is the fort.

WPC: Yellow

For this week’s photography challenge: Yellow

A new restaurant called ‘A Hole Lot Of Love‘ , by ‘A Hole In The Wall’ group, in Bangalore. I liked how their display was bright yellow in color that I couldn’t miss taking a shot of it in my phone. I think their names are cool, aren’t they ?IMG_20141217_185051142-001This was taken in Sinhagad Fort. Pretty little yellow flowers, they were.

Last but not the least, I am not sure if the color is yellow or rather golden, but I love this photograph I took in Tossa De Mar, Spain

Lonely Girl

I’m afraid that some times
you’ll play lonely games too.
Games you can’t win
’cause you’ll play against you.

Red across the sky

Its official. I am going crazy while I am reading this series (ASOIAF). It is so so hard for me to resist myself from reading about something related to this, just to quench my curiosity. Damn! I just completed my 2nd book (again in a week). I am going to rant a teeny tiny bit here. What a stupid, idiotic, bloody half-wit Theon Greyjoy is. My fingers were itching to smack him hard by the end of the book. OK, I feel a little better. Need to start the next one by Sunday evening or Monday, but am sure to not complete it in a week, because I will be on a vacation (keeping my 20 fingers crossed).

When I was reading about the ‘Red Comet’ which starts occurring in the 2nd book, I remembered a photograph I took in Tossa De Mar, Spain, one fine very early morning while I was trying to capture a sunrise. Could it have looked like this ? I wonder ?
