Part #3: Santa Cruz, USA
Santa Cruz in California, one of the places I happened to visit during my first US trip. And I went to this place on my own. Took the Cal Train to San Jose and then took the bus from there. And I chose a day when it was very hot. So there was a huge crowd there who had come out to enjoy the sun and get some tan. I am already tanned a lot, naturally and I was wondering what to do about the heat. The beach and the boardwalk was very interesting and the water was as usual very cold. This photograph was taken when I took the sky ride. Even though I am afraid of heights, I really wanted to see the whole beach from above. There was a cheer leading competition going on, and lot of young adults lounging and having fun. I walked as much as I could in the water to the other side, but it was very hot to go all the way to the light house, which was my destination at first. But the heat got to me and I returned back after an hour or two. It was quite big enough to accommodate so many people and I liked the way people enjoyed the sun and water in different ways. I would love to visit it and spend some time here when it isn’t hot, if I happen to visit U.S again.
More about my visit to this place here.
