K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge: Patterns

For this week’s Cosmic Photography Challenge, I am using a man-made structure and a natural one for Patterns. Both these photographs have been edited using PhotoMania to create a pattern on a pattern 😉 Here they are:

K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge: Straight Lines

I have been missing this prompt for a couple of weeks. So, decided to do it today even though it is usually done by me on a Monday.
I love Cambodia and all those beautiful sculptures that you get to see there. I was amazed at how intricate and detailed their art of work were. I chose this photograph because in-spite of the elements in it, the whole thing was done in a straight line. But I thought it will be much better to have a mirror view of it to let you see how perfectly symmetrical they are. Used PhotoMania’s photo effects to get this end result.

K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge: Day into Night

While I was in Fort Bragg,California I happened to see this scene where the day was slowly turning into the night. So when I saw this week’s Cosmic Photography Challenge, I knew I was going to use this photograph. I did some editing using DPP and Pixlr but the essence of it remains the same.

After Effects –  Part 2 😉

Nope, not the kind of after effects I was talking about yesterday. This after effect is related to photography 😉

Cosmic Photography Challenge’s theme this week is FreeStyle Effects. This photograph is a result of that. I used Snapseed and applied (let me see if I remember them correctly) Tonal Contrast, HDR Scape, Grunge and not in the same order to get this effect.

This is the original photograph, for your reference.

As you already know, I am lazy with photo effects and its takes some push to get me to do it. I hope that the one after effects is much better than the original one.

This was the photograph taken using my phone of the new ISKCON temple that is getting built in Kanakapura Road, Bangalore. It is supposed to be huge, but it is still in construction phase. So they have this small area where all the idols are kept and you are allowed to take photographs of them. In India, photography inside the temple is prohibited. Even the other ISKCON near Rajajinagar doesn’t allow photography inside the temple. So I took the advantage of the fact that they didn’t bother about it now.

K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge: S & S

One of my very favorite photographs from Bali during the Sunset at Tanah Lot for Silhouettes.

This one is from the beach near Nusa Dua for Shadows, taken before my turn at paragliding, even though I did the one from the boat, not from the beach.

Art as a weapon
